Personally appeared before me E. Lartigue to me well
known, who acknowledged that he is a subscriber to the above
proposed Charter of Gainesville & Alachua County Hospital
Associaton, and that it is intended in good faith to carry
out the purposes and objects set forth therein.
     Acknowledged and subscribed before

     The Foregoing proposed charter, having been presented and
submitted together with proof of publication in accordance with
the Statute and no cause being shown to the contrary and the
same being in proper form, and for, an object, authorized by
laws of Florida as contained in Chapter 4231, the said Charter
is herein and hereby approved and authorized.  Done and 
ordered, at Chambers at Gainesville Fla. on this 1st day of
March  A.D.  1905.

                    = Affidavit of John Cashman =
I, John Cashman of Haverhill Massachusetts Treasurer of
the Gainesville Gas and Electric Power Company on oath desposes
and say that all of the Capital Stock of said company has been
Subscribed for and that the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars
($10,000) being Ten per cent of the capital Stock has been
duly paid in to the treasury of said company and as the Treasurer of
said company I hold Said sum of $10,000 being ten per cent of the
Capital Stock of said company which Capital Stock was $100,000.
