Letters Patent
The State of Florida
To all Whom these presents shall Come Greeting.
Whereas T.B. Stringfellow R.L. Stringfellow and R.B. Livingston
on the fourteenth day of March AD 1905 filed in the office of
the Secretary of State a proposed Charter of a Corporation to be
known as Alachua Ice and Water Company with a capital of
Twenty five thousand ($25,000.00) dollars for the purpose of buying
selling and manufacturing of ice; the construction equipment and
operation of a water plant in connection therewith and the furnishing
of water for any and all purposes; The construction and operation
of an electric, gas or other lighting plant; the purchase and sales
of goods wares and merchandise of real and personal property
of whatsoever character and generally to do all things necessary and
proper for carrying on said business, or to protect and advance the
interests thereof, and for these purposes to have and possess all
the rights benefits privileges and immunities incident to and given under
the laws of this State to a corporation of such character.
And have published due notice,thereof and have otherwise complied
with the Statute in such case made and provided.
Therefore the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above named |
