     Notice of intention to Apply For Letters Patent
Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will
apply at Tallahassee, Florida, on the 27th day of
February, A.D. 1906, or as soon thereafter as possible,
for letters Patent incorporating The G.W. Hyde Company
under the following proposed charter, the original
of which is now on file in the office of the secretary of
State, at Tallahassee, Florida.

          Proposed Charter of the G.W. Hyde Company
The undersigned hereby associate themselves together
for the purpose of becoming incorporated and forming a
corporation under and by virtue of the laws of the State
of Florida, with and under the following proposed charter.
                    - I -
     The name of the corporation shall be the G.W.
Hyde Company, and its principal place of business
shall be in the town of Gainesville, County of Alachua,
and State of Florida, with branches at such other
places as may be necessary or desirable.
                    - II. -
     The general nature of the business to be engaged
in and transacted by the company shall to buy
and sell at retail, dry goods, notions, millinery, clothing
gents furnishings goods and other general merchandise;
to buy and sell personal property of all kinds, and
such real estate as may be necessary in conduct-
ing the business of the company, or to protect it
from loss, to subscribe for, purchase, receive
and hold for investment or otherwise sell or dispose
of stocks, shares, securities or obligations of other corpor-
ations, and while the owner or holder of such
stocks, or obligations, to exercise all the rights and
powers of ownership thereof, and to exercise
any voting powers thereof, and generally to do
all other things that may be necessary for the
purpose of conducting the business of the company.
                    - III. - 
     The amount of the capital stock of said corporation
shall be Twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars,
to be divided into two hundred and fifty
(250) shares, of the par value of One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars each.  Twenty-five per cent (25%)
