Letters Patent
The State of Florida.
          To all whom these Presents shall come:
Greeting.
Whereas H.A. Pickett, C.D. May, J.F. Ruff, W.H.
Tucker and John G. White, on the eleventh
day of April, A.D., 1906, filed in the office of
the Secretary of State a proposed charter of a 
corporation to be known as The Bank of
Newberry, with a capital of Fifteen Thousand
($15,000.00), for the purpose of a general banking
business; the discounting and negotiating
of promissory notes, drafts, bills of exchange
and other evidences of debt; receiving deposits,
buying and selling exchange, coin and bullion,
loaning money, on personal and real security;
to hold, purchase and convey real estate for
all purposes now or hereafter to be allowed
by law, and generally to do all things necessary
and proper for carrying on said business;
and for these purposes to have and to
possess all the rights, benefits, privileges
and immunities incident to, and given
under the Laws of this State to a corporation
of such character; and have published due
notice thereof, and have otherwise complied
with the statute in such case made and
provided;  Thereof, the State of Florida hereby
incorporates the above named persons their
associates and successors into a body politic
and corporate in deed and in law by and
under the said name of Bank of Newberry,
and grants unto them full authority to 
exercise the powers and privileges of a
corporation for the purpose above stated, in
accordance with their said charter and
the Laws of this State.
                    In witness whereof, These
                    presents have been attested
                    with the Great Seal, and signed
     (Seal)         and countersigned by the
                    Governor and Secretary of State
                    of the State of Florida, at
                    Tallahassee, the eighteenth day
                    of May  A.D.  1906.
