Letters Patent
The State of Florida
To All Whom these presents shall come Greeting
Whereas J.D. Watkins  M.E. Schlater  H.L. Montgomery  C.E. Melton
and E.C. Chitty on the twenty eighth day of May  A.D.  1906
filed in the office of the Secretary of State a proposed charter
of a corporation to be known as Micanopy Banking Company with
a Capital of Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) dollars for the purpose of
a general banking business, the discounting and negotiationg of
promissory notes, drafts, bills of exchange and other evidences of debt
receiving, deposits, buying and selling exchange coin and bullion;
loaning money or personal and real security; to hold purchase and
convey real estate for all purposes now or hereafter to be allowed
by law and generally to do all things necessary and proper for
carrying on said business and for these purposes to have and possess
all the rights benefits privileges and immunities incident to and
given under the laws of this State to a corporation of such character
and have published due notice thereof and have otherwise
complied with the Statute in such case made and provided.
Therefore, the State of Florida hereby Incorporates the above named
persons their associates and successors into a body politic and corporate
in deed and in law by and under the said name of Micanopy
Banking Company and grants unto them full authority to
