          Notice of incorporation
Notice is hereby given that we, the undersigned,
intend to apply to the Governor of the State of
Florida, on the 27th day of May, 1907, for Letters
Patent incorporating Alachua Trading and
Improvement Company under the following
proposed charter, the original of which is now
on file in the office of the Secretary of State of
the State of Florida.
     This notice is given in pursuance of Section
2649, General Statutes of Florida.

     Articles of incorporation of the Alachua Trading and
Improvement Company.
     We, the undersigned, have associated ourselves together,
and do hereby associate ourselves together, for the
purpose of forming ourselves into a body corporate
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Florida,
and do adopt the following Articles of Incorporation.
                    Article 1 
     The name of this corporation is Alachua Trading
and Improvement Company, and its principal 
place of business shall be in Tyler, Florida, but such
branch offices, agencies and other places of business
may be established elsewhere in the State of Florida
and the United States as the board of directors shall
from time to time determine.
                    Article 2
     The geral nature of the business to be conducted,
prosecuted and engaged in is to do any or all of
the things herein set forth to the same extent as
natural persons might or could do, that is, to
establish, conduct and maintain a general trading
mercantile, supply and manufacturing business; to
buy, sell, pledge, handle and deal in and deal 
with all kinds of merchandise and personal property;
to buy, sell, purchase, acquire, hold, use, lease, and
mortgage real estate, city or town property of every
kind or description; to buy, sell, rent and lease
houses and other buildings and structures; to buy,
build, rent and lease hotels, stores, commissaries
and to establish and conduct the same, and carry
on the business of general merchants; to engage
in and carry on the business of supplying gas,
both natural and artificial, for heat, light and
