Treasurer of the corporation, organized and incorporated
under the Laws of the State of Florida as the Alachua
Trading and Improvement Company, with its principle
place of business and office at Tyler, Florida and
that more than ten per cent of the capital stock
of the said corporation has been subscribed and paid
in.

                    Letters Patent
The State of Florida
     To all Whom these presents shall come - Greeting:
     Whereas J.R. Williams, C.W. Stephens, J.E. Haynsworth
H.J. McCallum and F.M. Stephens on the twenty seventh day of
May  A.D.  1907 filed in the office of the secretary of State a
proposed Charter of a Corporation to be known as the H.J. McCallum
Company with a Capital of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) dollars for
the purpose of engaging in a general merchantile business;
to buy and sell dry goods, groceries hardware, fertilizers and all
other kinds of merchandise; to buy and sell farm products; to buy
and sell real estate and to make loans upon real estate or
personal property and to do and perform all acts and things
that may be necessary in the carrying on of such business or 
businesses.
and have published due notice thereof and have otherwise
complied with the Statute in such case made and provided.
Therefore the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above named
persons their associates and successors into a body politic and
corporate in deed and in law by and under the said name of
H.J. McCallum Company and grants unto them full authority
to exercise the powers and privileges of a Corporation for the
purpose above Stated in accordance with their said Charter
and the laws of this State.
     In Witness Whereof These presents have been attested
     with the Great Seal and signed and countersigned by
     the Governor and Secretary of State of the State of
     Florida at Tallahassee the sixth day of July  A.D.  1907
