Charter of the Seven Stars Consolidation of the United
States of America:
                     The undersigned citizens of the State 
of Florida, desire to form an association, not for profit and to 
become incorporated, as such, in the manner prescribed by law, in
that behalf proposed, and subscribed, a charter, as follows:
     First:-  The name of the corporation shall be The Seven
Stars Consolidation, of the United States of America; its location
shall be in the City of Gainesville, State of Florida, and the cor-
poration shall exist for ninety-nine years.
     Second:-  The general object of the corporation is benevolent
work, care for widows, and orphant children, and also to
care for sick, and financially distressed members of the
Association; to purchase and own personal property and real
estate, with power to grant, bargain, sell, and convey the same.
     Third:-  To regulate the terms, and manner of membership
thereof, together with the residence of the respective members.
     Fourth:-  Until an election of officers, the afairs of the cor-
poration, are to be managed by officers as follows:
H.M. Fleming, Supreme Grand Chief.  Francis C. Tompson
Duputy Grand Chief; H.J. Jones, Grand Financial Sec-
retary; D.J. Jones, Secretary of Endowment Department; W.C. 
Brown, Recording Secretary; Mrs. Jennie Frazier, Treasurer.
     Fifth:-  The election of officers will be held on November 20
th A.D.  1907 and annually threafter.
     Sixth:-  The By-laws of the corporation, are to be made,
altered or rescinded by the appointment of five members
of the corporation, constituting a committee to be named by
the Supreme Grand Chief:
     Seventh:-  The liability of the corporation, shall not exceed
at any time, five Hundred ($500.00) dollars:
     Eighth:-  The amount in value of the aggregation, real 
and personal property, which the corporation may own, hold
and enjoy will not exceed One Thousand ($1,000.00) dollars:
     In Testimony of the intention in good faith, to
carry out the purposes and objects set forth, we here-
by subscribe our hands, this the 1st. day of June  A.D.
1907.
