Letters Patent - - - - State of Florida
To All Whom These Presents shall come, Greeting
Whereas Jno. W. Blanding, J.J. Hayman, and J.S. Shands on
the twenty third day of October A.D. 1907, filed in the office of
the Secretary of State a proposed charter of a corporation to
be known as The United Land Development Company,
with a capital of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars, for the
purpose of to buy, sell, option, mortgage, lease, rent, cultivate
improve, plat, subdivide, auction, and deal in for its-
elf and for others on commission all kinds of real or
personal property; to borrow money or lend money, its
credit or the credit of others, with or without security, to
subscribe for purchase, receive, own, hold, sell, and dis-
pose of stock, shares, bonds securities or obligations of in-
dividuals of other corporations wherever located; to buy sell
lease, and use machinery, and appliances, supplies and
personal property of whatsoever description, to collect dis-
count, and assign securities or other obligations payable
or transferred to it, either before or after maturity; to buy
or own its own shares in any terms whatsoever, and
to have power, generally to do, perform, have, hold, acquire
and enjoy all other property, powers and things as shall
be incident, necessary or expedient for the conducting the
necessary operations of the business, and generally to be
vested with and to have all powers, granted or which may
be hereafter granted to corporations for profit under the laws
of the State of Florida; and have published due notice thereof
and have otherwise complied with the statute in such case
made and provided;
Therefore The State of Florida Hereby incorporates the above
named persons, their associates and successors into a
body politic and corporate in deed and in law by and under
the said name of The United Land Development Com-
pany, and grants unto them full authority to exercise the
powers and priileges of a corporation, for the purpose
above stated in accordance with their said charter and the
Laws of this State.
In Witness Whereof, These presents have been attested
with the Great Seal, and signed and countersigned by
the Governor and Secretary of State, of the State of Florida,
at Tallahassee, the Capital, this the twenty-ninth day of
November A.D. 1907.
