          NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LETTERS PATENT.
     Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will, on the 15th day of
August, A.D. 1908, apply to the Governor of Florida, at his office in Tallahassee,
Florida, for Letters Patent for ARCHER CRATE AND BASKET COMPANY, the proposed charter
of which is now on file with the Secretary of State at Tallahasssee, Florida. A true
copy of said proposed charter follows our signature hereto, and is made a part
of this notice.  This notice is given and published in compliance with Section
2649, of the General Statutes of Florida.

     ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF THE ARCHER CRATE AND BASKET COMPANY.
                    ARTICLE 1.
     The name of this corporation is the ARCHER CRATE AND BASKET COMPANY,and its pr
principal office and place of business shall be at Archer, Alachua County, Florida
but the board of directors may establish such branch offices, agencies and other
places of business at other places in the United States and foreign countries as
may be deemed necessary.
                    ARTICLE 2.
     The general business to be conducted and engaged in is to do any or all of the
things herein set out to the same extent as natural persons could or might do,
that is, to conduct and maintain a general manufacturing business, to buy and sell
goods, wares and merchandise of all kinds and descriptions, to operate a general
merchantile business, to buy, sell and manufacture chemicals and fertilizers at whole-
sale or retail.
     To manufacture crates, carriers and baskets, boxes and other similar articles, and
to manufacture lumber and operate mills, factories and plants for the manufactures
and sale of lumber and its products.
     To manufacture ice and deal in the same, and to build and operate cold
storage rooms and refrigeration processes.
     To produce electricity and distribute the same for light, heat and power and
other purposes, and to deal in and supply water for all proper and lawful uses.
     To buy, sell, hold, use and lease and let real estate and to mortgage the sam
same.and to acquire,hold and sell and dispose of mortgages on real estate. To enter
into,mke and perform and carry out contracts of every kind with any person,firm
or corporation.To have and to hold all the rights powers and privileges granted
to corporations under the laws of Florida.
     The foregoing clauses shall be constructed both as to its objects and
powers,and it is hereby expressly provided that the foregoing specific powers shal
not be held in any way to limit or restrict the powers of this corporation.
                    ARTICLE 3.
     The capital stock of this corporation shall be TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS,divided in
to one hundred shares of the par value of One Hundred Dollars each.  Said stock
shall be paid for in cash, or in property, or by labor or services, at a just valua-
tion to be fixed by the directors at a meeting to be called for that purpose.
                    ARTICLE 4.
     The term for which this corporation shall exist shall be ninety-nine years.
                    ARTICLE 5.
     The business of the corporation shall be conducted by a president, vice-presi-
dent, secretary and treasurer and a General Manager, and a board of directors to
consist of not less than three members.  The duties of any two of the above offices,
