except as provided by the by-laws, may be held and discharged by the same person.The busi-
ness shall be conducted by R.D. Medlin,President; M.H. DePass, Vice-President; and C.D.
Wood,Secretary and Treasurer; and R.D. Medlin, M.H. DePass, C.D.Wood and M. Venable,shall
compose the first Board of Directors until the first annual meeting of stockholders to
be held on the third Monday in August,1908, and annually on said day thereafter. The
officers of the corporation shall be elected or appointed by the directors annually
immediately after the annual meeting of and election of directors by the stockholders.
Each stockholder shall be entitled to one vote for each share of stock owned by said
stockholder.
ARTICLE 6.
The highest amount of indebtedness or liability to which this corporation can
at any time a subject itself shall be Twenty Five Thousand Dollars.
ARTICLE 7.
The following persons are the subscribers t this charter and Articles of Incorpora-
tion, and have each subscribed to and for the number of shares set after our names.
C. D. Wood, 20 shares; M.H.DePass, 20 shares; M. Venable, 20 shares; all residing
at Archer, Florida; and R. D. Medlin, of Gainesville, Florida, 20 shares; Fred Cubberly, of
Cedar Key, Florida, one share.
The foregoing articles of Incorporation are this day approved and adopted
as the proposed charter of a corporation to be known as ARCHER CRATE AND BASKET COMPANY,
at a meeting of the subscribers and incorporates held for that, purpose at Archer
Alachua County, Florida.
