thirty (30) days after the posting of this notice in those
places of public resort in the Town of Trenton, a meeting
will be called at the School House in said Town to
incorporate the Town of Trenton, Florida and nominate
and elect town officers, said town limits to include the
N.W. 1/4 and the N. 1/2 of S.W. 1/4 of Section 16 Township 10
South of Range 15 East     }

                                Chapter 1688 Section 1001, General
                                Statute of the State of Florida
a public meeting was held at the School House in Tren-
ton Alachua County, Florida, on December 12, 1908, at
9 P.M. and the following qualified electors were present:
     Dr. Lanier          H.C. Money
     H.S. Rogers         A.J. Slocum
     R.H. Jones          L.R. Weeks
     M.T. Browning       J.P. Watson
     B.F. Williams       U.J. Trammell
     Frank Stockman      L.M. Curry
     C.C. Doke           G.W. Miller
     H.M. Owens          J.A. Durrance
     J.V. Fralick        C.J. Fletcher
     F.B. Love           R.L. Tison
     O.N. Sanders        S.B. Hardee
     Olive Jones
     L. Yancey
     H.F. Brooker
     J.A. Beach
     W.F. Beach
     L.J. Wamble
     A.W. Smith
The aforesaid electors present numbering twenty-
nine, being more than two-thirds of those whom it is
proposed to incorporate.  Upon motion R.H. Jones was elec-
ted Chairman of the said meeting and G.W. Miller Secre-
tary.  The motion to incorporate, duly made and seconded
was carried by a vote of 27 for incorporating and
none against incorporating.
Upon motion, duly made, seconded, considered and
carried, the name selected for the municipality was
"Trenton."
Upon motion duly made, seconded, considered and car-
ried, the seal selected for the said Town of Trenton
was as follows: -- (Town seal)
Upon motion duly made, seconded, considered, and
carried, the following territorial limits of said Town
of Trenton were adopted:--
The limits to be the lands embraced within the
North West quarter and the North half of the South
West quarter of Section Sixteen (16) Township
Ten (10) South of Range Fifteen (15) East, in
Alachua County, Florida
