Volusia, Marion, Sumter, Lake, and Orange Counties; to
own, operate, lease and rent telephone and telephone exchanges;
to own, operate, lease, and rent telephone lines, and to deal in
any and all kinds of electrical goods and supplies, and this
corporation shall have power generally to do and perform, have,
hold, acquire, and enjoy all other property, powers and things as
may be incident, necessary, or expedient for the conducting the
necessary operations of the business and generally be vested
with and have all the power granted, or which may be here-
after granted to telephone companies under the laws of the State
of Florida.
And have published due notice thereof, and have otherwise
complied with the statute in such case made and provided.
Therefore the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above
named persons, their associates and successors into a body po-
litic and corporate in deed and in law by and under the
said name of Florida Telephone Company, and grants unto
them full authority to exercise the powers and privileges
of a corporation for the purpose above stated, in accordance
with their said charter and the Laws of the State.
In Witness Whereof These presents have been attested with
the Great Seal, and signed and countersigned by the Gover-
nor and Secretary of State of the State of Florida, at Talla-
hassee, the Capital, this the 14th day of April A.D. 1909.

Notice of Incorporation.
Notice is hereby given that we the undersigned, intend to
apply to the Governor of the State of Florida, for Letters
Patent to be issued to the Florida Telephone Company
a proposed corporation under the laws of the State of
Florida, of which company the following shall be the
Articles of Incorporation. This notice is given in pur-
suance to there requirements of the State of Florida and the
articles of incorporation have been filed with the Secretary
of State and are given below.

The name of the corporation shall be Florida Telephone
Company, and the principal place of business shall be in
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, but it may es-
tablish offices and agencies at other places within the
