of directors which shall consist of not less than three nor more than five members
to be elected at the annual meeting of stockholders to be held on the first Tues-
day in January of each year; the board of directors shall appoint such other
officers of this corporation having such powers, duties and terms of office
as may be provided by the by laws.  The following officers shall conduct the busin-
ess of this corporation until those elected at the first annual meeting shall
qualify:

General Manager, E.L. Hulme,
Secretary and Treasurer, J.E. Martin,
Directors, E.L. Hulme, W.E. Laughinghouse, J.E. Martin,
                    ARTICLE 6.
INDEBTEDNESS.  The highest amount of indebtedness to which this corporation shall
at any time subject itself is $5,000.00
                    ARTICLE 7.
     This corporation may adopt by laws for the government of its affairs not in-
consistent with the Articles of Incorporation of the laws of the State of Florida
The said by laws may be amended from time to time, as may be provided in said by law
                    ARTICLE 8.

amount of capital stock subscribed by each, is:

E. L. Hulme, W. E. Laughinghouse, J. E. Martin, C. F. Morrison, J. W. Peacock, George
W. Peacock, to me well known to be the individuals who signed, the proposed article
of incorporation of the HAWTHORNE TRADING COMPANY, who severally acknowledged before
fore me that he signed the said proposed articles of incorporation freely and
voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein set forth and expressed.  Witness my
hand and official seal this 17th day of April A.D.  1909.
