Article 7.
The business of the said corporation shall be con-
ducted by the following officers until their successors are
elected as provided for by these articles:
President, J.B. Padgett,
Vice President, Treasurer and General Manager, J.E. Futch
Secretary, Jos. E. Harrison,
Board of Directors, J.B. Padgett, J.E. Futch and Jos. E. Harrison
Article 8.
There shall be a set of by-laws adopted by the Board
of directors for the government of the affairs of the
corporation which shall not be inconsistent with these
Articles or the laws of this State.
Article 9.
There shall be an annual meeting of the stockholders
of the said corporation on the second Tuesday in January
of each year for the purpose of electing a board of
directors and for the transaction of such other business
as shall come before such meetings. Wherever any of
the stock of the said corporation shall be placed on the
market for sale the stockholders of the said corporation
shall have the right to buy the same, but if they shall
fail or neglect to do so for thirty days after the same
has been publicly placed in the market, then it may
be sold to other parties.
Article 10.
The names and subscribers to these articles, together
with the amounts subscribers, for, is as follows, each
subscriber agreeing to take the amount of stock set
opposite his name, to wit:
J.B. Padgett, Gainesville, Florida. Sixty shares
J.E. Futch, Gainesville, Florida. Fifty shares.
Jos. E. Harrison, Gainesville, Florida. Fifteen shares.

County of Alachua } Before the subscriber, personally
appeared J.B. Padgett, J.E. Futch and Jos. E. Harrison
who each for himself acknowledges before me that
he subscribed his name to the proposed Articles of
Incorporation of the Padgett Futch Company for the
uses and purposes therein contained and expressed.
