I, H. Clay Crawford, Secretary of State of the State of

as filed in this office, and recorded in Book No. 22
Articles of Incorporation, on pages 492 - 495.
Given under my hand and the Great Seal of
the State of Florida at Tallahassee, the Capital, this

Circuit Court, in and for said County and State
personally appeared J.E. Futch, who being duly
sworn, deposes and says that he is the Treasurer
of the Padgett Futch Company, and that as such
he has received over eleven thousand dollars
paid in in the stock of said Company and that
more than ten percent of the capital stock has been
subscribed for and paid in.

Letters Patent: The State of Florida
To all Whom these Presents shall come: Greeting.
Whereas, J.D. Stringfellow, J. Ira Gore, H.B. Coe,
and D.P. Davis on the fifteenth day of January A.D.
1910, filed in the office of the Secretary of State a
proposed charter of a corporation to be known as
Gainesville Development Company with a capital
of one Thousand ($1,000.00) dollars for the purpose of
the buying, selling, leasing and mortgaging of land
and other property and the products of the same, the
buying and selling, cutting, manufacturing and trans-
porting timber, lumber and the property and the
products thereof and acting as agents and
brokers in the conduct of either of said
businesses and transaction for others and
the owning of all other property of every nature
and description that may be necessary
and usual in and incident to the business |
