or businesses aforesaid and have published due
notice thereof, and have otherwise complied with
the statute in such case made and provided.
Therefore, the State of Florida hereby incorporates
the above named persons, their associates and success-
ors into a body politic and corporate in deed and in law
by and under the said name of Gainesville Development
Company and grants unto them full authority to
exercise the powers and privileges of a corporation for
the purpose above stated in accordance with their said
charter and the Laws of this State.
In Witness Whereof, These presents have been
attested with the Great Seal and signed and counter-
signed by the Governor and Secretary of State of
the State of Florida, at Tallahassee, the Capital, this
the 26th day of Feb. A.D. 1910.

Notice of Application for Letters Patent
Notice is hereby given that We, the undersigned
have this day organized and associated ourselves into
a corporation to be known as Gainesville Development
Company, with the principal place of business in the
city of Gainesville, State of Florida, for the purposes
set forth in the charter and articles of incorporation
hereto annexed, a copy of which has been filed in
the office of the Secretary of State and that four
weeks after the first publication hereof, we will
apply to the Governor of said State for Letters Patent
upon such charter and articles of incorporation.

Articles of Incorporation
We, the undersigned, hereby associate ourselves
together for the purpose of incorporating and forming
a body corporate under the laws of the State of Florida.
Article 1.
The name of this corporation shall be Gaines-
ville Development Company and its principal place of
business at Gainesville, Florida, but the said company
may have such other offices and places of
business in the State of Florida or in other
states as may be provided by the by-laws of said
company.
Article 2.
The general nature of this business to be transacted
by said corporation shall be the buying, selling, leas-
