or expedient, and to do all other things necessary, advisable, incident or
pertaining to the purposes aforesaid, and the successful transaction and conduct
of the business of this company; and to have, exercise and enjoy all rights, powers
and privileges of corporations organized and existing under and by virtue of the Laws
of the State of Florida and have published due notice thereof, and have otherwise
complied with the statute in such case made and provided: -
Therefore the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above named persons, their
associates and successors into a body politic and corporate in deed and in
law by and under the said name of The Florida Irrigated Farm Company and
grants unto them full authority to exercise the powers and privileges of a corporation
for the purpose above stated, in accordance with their said charter and the Laws of this
State.

Notice is hereby given that we the undersigned will apply to the Governor of the State
of Florida, at Tallahassee, on the 30th day of May, A.D. - 1910, for the Patent incor-

Articles of Incorporation of the Florida Irrigated Farm Company.
We, the undersigned hereby associate ourselves together for the purpose of becoming
a body corporate under the laws of the State of Florida, the provisions of which
are hereby accepted. The following Articles of Incorporation shall constitute
and become its charter upon the issunce of Letters Patent according to Law.-
Article I
Name and Place of Business. The name of this corporation shall be The
Florida Irrigated Farm Company. Its general office shall be in Gainesville,
Florida, and its business shall be conducted in other places in the State
of Florida, and elsewhere; through branches, offices, agencies or otherwise, as the board of
directors may, from time to time determine.
Article II.
General Nature of the Business to be Transacted:
The general nature of the business to be transacted by this company
shall be to acquire, purchase, own, hold, sell, convey, mortgage, both
improved and unimproved real estate in the State of Florida; and to
engage in all kinds of agricultural and horticultural operations;
to prepare, cultivate and grow farm and garden products for markets;
to rent, improve, plat, subdivide, auction and deal in for itself and
for others on a commission, all kinds of real and personal property;
and to make contracts of all kinds incident to and for the furtherance
of its purposes and business, including contracts between said |
