Article Vlll, By laws.
The bylaws shall be made at the first meeting of the association to be called by the
temporary officers and shall embrace a constitution setting forth the objects of the
association in accordance with this Charter and shall designate a Grand Lodge and
Subordinate Lodge System for provcuring of members and rules for the organization
thereof shall define the powers nd duties of the officers and the bylaws may be there
after altered or rescinded by the Board of Directors.
Article lX. Highest Indebtedness.
The highest amount of indebtedness or liability to which the corporation may at any
time ne subjected shall be ten thousand dollars and never greater than two thirds of the
value of the property of the association.
Article X Real Estate.
The corporation may hold real estate in value to the amount of fifteen thousand dollars
subject always however to the approval of te Judge of the Circuit Court.

ments of deeds in said State and County personally appeared A.R. Jones to me well known
as one of the subscribers to the foregoing Charter of the Southern States Protective
Association who acknowledged before me that he and the other subscribesr thereto
signed the foregoing notice and proposed charter for the uses and purposes and the
objects therein set forth in good faith and that the same are their genuine signatures
Deponent further says after having been first duly sworn by me that it is intended by
the subscribers to carry out in good faith the purposes and objects therein set forth.

The proposed charter with proof of publication having been produced and no cause being

ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF CHRISTIAN BENEVOLENCE CHEERFUL GIVING SOCIETY OF THE STATE
OF FLORIDA
ARTICLE L
The name of this corporation is the Christian Benevolence Cherrful Giving Society, and
the place of business of said Society shall be all over the entire state of Florida.
ARTICLE ll.
The General nature and object of the Society shall be to care for the sick, bury the
dead care for the orphan children of its members, pay for and furnish doctors for members
of the Society and their family pay weekly dues to members, furnish nurses when necessary
