Notice of Application for Incorporation.
Four weeks after the first publication of the following proposed
Charter, the undersigned will apply to the Honorable A.W. Gilchrist
Governor of Florida, for Letters Patent incorporating them, their successors
and assigns under the laws of the State of Florida.

Proposed Articles of Incorporation of the Dennifield Company.
We, the undersigned hereby associate ourselves together for the
purpose of becoming incorporated under the laws of the State of
Florida applicable to corporations for profit.
Article 1: The name of this corporation shall be the Dennifield Co;
and its principal place of business in Gainesville, Alachua County, Fla.
but it may established offices, agencies, stores, mills or factories
at such other places as shall be designed by the Board of Directors.
Article 2. The general nature of the business to be transacted by this
corporation shall be:
1st. Printing, binding and job work, buying and selliing all kinds
of merchandise, including dry goods, groceries, hardware, boots and
shoes, notions, millinery, furniture, coffins, glass and crockery ware,
fertilizer, musical instruments, bicycles, vehicles of all kinds, and
any and all goods, wares, and merchandise that may be sold
in a general merchandise business.
2nd. Buying, owning, leasing, or selling horses, mules, and all
other live stock.
3rd Buy, own, operate mills and gins for the purpose of grinding
corn and other grains, ginning cotton and preparing farm products for market.
4th Buy, own, sell, and encumber real estate and personal property.
5th. To borrow and loan money; to take security or to execute and deliver
security for the same.
6th. To do any and all acts necessary in carrying out the purposes
of a general mercantile business.
Article 3: The capital stock of said corporation shall be One Thousand
Dollars, divided into ten shares each, to be paid in cash.
Article 4: The term for which the said corporation shall exist shall
be ninety nine years.
Articles 5: The business of the said corporation shall be conducted
by a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, General Manager
and a Board of Directors. The term of office of President and the
General Manager shall be five years. The term of office of all other
officers shall be one year. All officers shall be stockholders in |
