corporation and have published due notice thereof, and have
otherwise complied with the statute as such case made and
provided: Therefore, the State of Florida hereby incorporates the
above named persons, their successors and associates into a body
politic and corporate in deed and in law by and under the
said name of Gainesville Motor Car Company,
and grants unto them full authority to exercise the powers
and privileges of a corporation for the purpose above stated,
in accordance with their said charter and the Laws of this State.

- Notice of Intention To Apply for Letters Patent -
Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of April A.D. 1911 the under-
signed will apply to the Honorable Albert W. Gilchrist, Governor
of the State of Florida for Letters Patent issued to them under
the name of Gainesville Motor Car Company in accordance
with the following proposed Articles of Incorporation.

- Articles of Incorporation of Gainesville Motor Car Company -
1st. The name of this corporation shall be Gainesville Motor Car Company.
Its principal office shall be at Gainesville, Alachua County,
Florida, but it shall have the power and authority to open,
establish, operate, and maintain branch officers in other towns
or cities and counties in the State of Florida, as the said corporation
shall deem neccessary or expedient.
2nd, The general nature of the business to be transacted by this
Corporation shall be manufacturing, buying, selling, renting,
exchanging, repairing, storing and caring for automobiles
bicycles, motorcycles, and aeroplanes, and other machinery
of any and every description; to manufacture, buy, sell, and
deal in automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles and aeroplanes
fixtures, accessories, byproducts and parts of every nature and
kind whatever, to manufacture, buy, sell, and deal in gas
and gasoline engines, marine engines and electric motors
and dynamos; to buy, own, and sell stock securities or obliga-
tions of other corporations to hold, buy, convey, and mortgage
any and all property neccessary or required to accomplish the
purposes above set forth to have agencies and employ agents
at such places as may be in the opinion of the officers of the
corporation necessary or expedient, and to do all things
neccesary or advisable for the successful transaction, and
conduct of the business of the corporation. |
