Notice of Application for Letters Patent
Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will on
the 26th day of April, A.D. 1912, apply to the Governor
of Florida at his office in the Capitol in Tallah-
assee, Florida, for Letters Patent for Archer Land and
Improvement Company the proposed charter of
which is now on file with the Secretary of State
at Tallahassee, Florida, a true copy of said
proposed charter follows our signature hereto, and
is made a part of this notice. This notice is
given and published in compliance with Section
2649, General Statutes of Florida.

Articles of Incorporation, Archer Land
and Improvement Company
Article I. The name of this corporation is Archer
Land and Improvement Company, and its prin-
cipal office and place of business shall be at
Archer, Alachua County, Florida, but the Board
of Directors may establish such branch offices
agencies and other places of business at other
places in the United States and foreign countries
as may be deemed necdessary.
Article 2. The general nature of the business to
be conducted, prosecuted and engaged in is
to do any or all of the things herein set forth
to the same extent as natural persons could
or might do, that is to buy and sell land and
real estate and interests in real estate, to
rent and lease lands and real estate, to ac-
quire lease of land, buildings, timber and timber
rights and mineral rights, to mortgaqe real
estate and personal property, to buy and sell
mortgages and contracts relative to real estate
to acquire farms and to carry on a farming
business and to buy, sell and deal in live
stock and vehicles of any kind or description
