and adjudged by the Court that the said defendant do have
and recover of and from the said plaintiffs said negro Slaves
in said Writ of replevin mentioned to wit Susan, a woman
Jim a Boy, Sam a Boy William a Boy & Mary a girl and the
and Infant born since the commencement of this suit
said defendant having Elected a return of the property; and
It is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk of this Court
do issue a writ of restitution for said property forthwith, and
that the Sheriff of said County do Execute the same by plac
ing said negro slaves in the possession of said defendant, and
It is further ordered and adjudged by the Court that the
said defendant do have and recover of and from the
plaintiff the sum of one cent for his damages together
with his Cost in this behalf expended, Taxed at Thirty
four Dollars and fourteen Cents and the plain
tiff in mercy &c

the parties by their respective attornies and the defend
ants saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs
said action hereof against them, It is ordered by
the Court that the said plaintiff do have their Judge
ment by default for want of a plea and that the Clerk
do assess the damages, Whereupon the Clerk having
assessed the damages at Six hundred & fifty one Dollars and
ninety one Cents, It is further ordered, Considered,
and adjudged by the Court that the said plaintiffs
do have and recover of and from the said def
-endants the said sum of Six hundred & fifty one dollars and
ninety one Cents together with their Cost in this behalf
expended taxed at Three ---------- dollars and
