                                   Foreman"
And being enquired of whether they were
content that the Court should alter a
matter of Form and not a matter of Substance 
said they were, The following persons
were sworn to give evidence before the
grand Jury this day to wit J.M. Geiger &
M.D. Colson,  there
              There being no further business
before the Grand Jury they were dismissed
by the Court from further attendance thereon

The State of Florida }
          vs         }   Murder
James Tucker         }            James Tucker, Labourer
                         late of the County of Putnam, who stands
indicted of Murder, was led to the bar in custody of the Sheriff
and Jailer of this Court, thereof heretofore arraigned in Putnam County
the venue having been changed to this county, -- -- and announced
himself ready for trial,  Whereupon came a Jury to wit;
James M. Ellis, John M. Fifer, James Fennell, E.G.
Barry, Thomas B. Holder, Redden Tuton, E.S. Gunnell
S.R. Johnson, E.R. Lewis, Asa Clark Jr. --- M.
Boulware, and William S. Cheves, -- who being elected
tried and sworn in due form, and having heard the evidence
argument of counsel and charge of the court and after
considering the same, upon their oath do say, that the
said James Tucker is guilty of Manslaughter and
they do as provided by the Statute assess the punishment
to Imprisonment in the Common Jail for the term of
four months to be fully completed and ended, and
that he do pay a fine of Five hundred dollars
  And thereupon he is remanded to Jail.
