           Monday 11th 1857
the Court that the plaintiff do have and recover of and
from the said defendant the said sum of  
              Dollars and                            cents
for his damages together with his cost in this behalf expended
Taxed as             Dollars and              cents and the
defendant in mercy &c

         vs              }    assumpsit
Joseph H. McGinnis & Co. }  Edwards,
                                         And now on this day
came the parties by their respective attorneys and the defen-
dant saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs said
action hereof against him.  It is ordered by the Court that
the said plaintiff do have his Judgment against the said
defendant by default for want of a plea, and that the Clerk
                                                assess
do assess the damages. Whereof the Clerk haing issued the
damages at one hundred & thirty four Dollars and sixty
     three       cents. It is further ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the said defendant the said sum
of one hundred & thirty four Dollars and sixty three
~~~~~~~~~ cents for his damages together with his cost
in this behalf expended  Taxed at two Dollars and
ninety five cents and the defendants in mercy &c


McCaslin & Co.           }  Means
         vs              }    assumpsit
Joseph H. McGinnis & Co. }  Edwards,

dred and Eleven Dollars and Eighty eight
cents.  It is further ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the plaintiff do have and recover of and from
the said defendant the said sum of Two hundred & Eleven
Dollars and Eighty eight ~~~~~ cents for his damages
