by their respective attorneys and by consent judgement
is awarded for the plaintiff and against the said
defendant for the sum of one hundred and
nine dollars and Eighty seven cents and
the defendant in mercy &c ---- Costs Four Dollars

And now
on this day came the Parties by their respective
Attorneys, and thereupon came a Jury, to wit:

5 Allen W. Hinson 11 S.C. Vanlandingham

being duly sworn to well and truly try the issue joined be-
tween the parties, after hearing the testimony of the following
witnesses, viz: 1 John McKinstry, 2 S.R. Pyles, 3 Cornelius Rain
and the argument of Counsel, and the charge of the Court
retired to Consider of their verdict, and thereafter, to wit on
the same day, returned into Court, and rendered the follow-
ing, To Wit, We the Jury find the defendant Guilty and
assess the damages at Five hundred and ninety three
dollars, and twenty cents, Whereupon, It is ordered con-
sidered and adjudged by the Court, that the Plaintiff do
do have and recover of and from the defendant the said
sum of Five hundred and ninety three dollars and twenty
cents for his damages, together with his Costs in this
behalf expended taxed at thirteen ~~~~~ Dollars
and Seventy cents, and the defendant in mercy &c
