And now on this day came the parties by their
respective attorneys and issue being joined thereupon came a Jury
to wit

who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue and a true verdict
give according to the law and Evidence after hearing the testimony
of Witnesses argument of Counsel and Charge of the Court, retired
to Consider of their verdict and thereafter to wit on the same day
returned into Court and rendered the following We the Jury find
for the defendant, Whereupon It is ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the defendant do recover of and
from the plaintiff his cost in this behalf Expended Taxed
at Four Dollars and Eighty five cents and the plaintiff
in mercy &c

Showing cause It is ordered by the Court that this cause be con
-tinued until next Term upon Defendant Entering into recognizance
with three good and sufficient securities for his appearance at the
next Term. Whereupon the defendant came forward in open Court
and acknowledged himself to be held and firmly bound unto the
Governor of the State of Florida and his successors in office in the
sum of Three Hundred Dollars and presented Alexander H. Perry
Alexander Mattheson and Daniel C. Hart who severally acknowledged
