Friday  May 15th 1857

returned into Court and rendered the following, wiz
We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and assess the dama-
ges at Eighty five dollars and fifty nine cents.
Whereupon It is ordered considered and adjuged by
the Court that the said Plaintiff do have and recover
of and from the said defendant the said sum of
Eighty five dollars and fifty nine cents for his dama-
ges, together with his costs in this behalf expended
taxed at Seventeen dollars and forty six cents
and the defendant in mercy &c

                          And now on this day came
the parties by their respective attorneys and the defdt petitioned
the Court for a change of venue, and on filing
the proper affidavit, It was ordered by the Court
that said venue be changed to Columbia County
