                     Friday  May 15th  1857.

     Jennings Tomlinson & Co  }     Means
No 34     vs                  }     Debt
     George S. Riggs.         }     Wheaton

            And now on this day come the parties by their respective
attorneys and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that
the defendant consents to Judgement being entered against him in favor
                                  one hundred & fourteen 
of the plaintiff for the term of Two Hundred and fifteen dollars
                      (78)
and twenty four (24) cents.  Whereupon It is ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff, the sum of Two one hun-
          fourteen                      78 
dred and fifteen Dollars and Twenty four cents, do have and
recover of and from the defendant, for his damages together
with his costs in this behalf expended.  Taxed at, Four
Dollars and five  --  cents and the defendant in mercy &c
Execution Stayed until next Term of this Court.

Alexander Matthewson }  
              And now on this day came the plaintiff by his attor-
ney and it appearing to the Court that the defendant consents
to Judgment, against himself in favor of the plaintiff and that
the Clerk do assess the damages.  Whereupon the Clerk having assessed
the damages as Sixty and  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Dollars and forty
four cents,  It is ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the plaintiff do have and recover of and from the defendant
the said sum of Sixty and  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  dollars and
forty four cents, together with his costs in this behalf expended
Taxed at Two Dollars and ninety five cents and the
defendant in mercy &c

             And now on this day comes the plaintiff by his attorney
and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that the defendant
consents that Judgment be entered against him in favor of the plaintiff
and that the clerk do assess the damages.  Whereupon the Clerk having
assessed the damages as Eighty five Dollars and  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
cents.  It is ordered considered and adjudged by the Court that the
plaintiff do have and recover of and from the defendant the said
sum of Eighty five dollars and ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  cents for his
damages together with his costs in this behalf expended  Taxed
two dollars and twenty five cents
