who being chosen tried and sworn to speak the
truth of the matters within contained and truly
try the issue joined between the parties after
having heard the testimony of the witnesses the argument
of Counsel and the charge of the Court retired to
consider of their verdict and thereafter to wit on
the same day returned into Court and rendered
the following verdict "Defendant Guilty" and
assess the damages at one cent"
Therefore it is considered that the said plaintiff
do recover against the said Adam Clay the
possession of the said premises according to
the verdict of the said Jury - and it is further
considered that the said plaintiff do recover against
the said Adam Clay his damages Costs and charges
by the jury aforesaid in form aforesaid assessed
and also the sum of Eighteen & 40/100 ----------------
Dollars for his costs and charges by the said Court
before the aforesaid Judge thereof now here adjudged
of increase to the said plaintiff and with his assent
which said damages costs and charges in the whole
amount to Eighteen and 40/100             Dollars
and hereupon the said plaintiff prays the writ of the
State of Florida to be directed to the Sheriff of Alachua
County aforesaid to cause him to have possession of the
said premises according to the force form and Effect
of his said recovery, and it is granted to him return
able to the said Court of Gainesville in the County
of Alachua when Executed
Judgment signed this             day of              in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and fifty seven nunc pro tunc.
