And now on this day came the said
plaintiff by his attornies Bradford & McLin & the said defend
ant comes by Jessie T. Bernard his attorney & says nothing but
makes default & whereupon the said plaintiff prays Judgement
for want of a plea, & that the Clerk assess the damages &
the Clerk having assessed the damages by reason of the prem
-ises at the sum of Five hundred & Forty three Dollars & Fifty
cents, Therefore it is considered by the Court that the said
plaintiff do recover of the said defendant the said Sum of
Five hundred & forty three Dollars & Fifty ---- Cents so as
aforesaid assessed against him with interest thereon untill
paid together with the further sum of Five hundred & forty
three dollars & fifty ---- cents for his cost in this behalf
expended and the said defendant in mercy &c

And now on this day came the said plain
tiff by his attornies Bradford & McLin & the said defendants comes
by George A. Dewson his attorney & says nothing but makes default
whereupon the said plaintiff prays Judgement for want of a plea, &
that the Clerk assess the damages & the Clerk having assessed
the damages by reason of the premises at the sum of One
hundred & Eighty one dollars & Sixty ---- cents, Therefore it
is considered by the Court that the said plaintiff do reco
ver of the said defendant the said Sum of Dollars One
hundred & Eighty one Dollars & Sixty ---- Cents so as
aforesaid assessed against him with interest thereon un
-till paid together with the further sum of
dollars & cents for his cost
in this behalf expended and the defendant in mercy &c
