And now on this day came the said
plaintiff by his attorney George A. Dewson and the defendant
comes not but makes default & whereupon the said plaintiff
prays for Judgment for want of a plea and that the Clerk
assess the damages & the Clerk having assessed the
damages at the Sum of Four hundred & Sixty five dollars & Thirty
Eight cents, Therefore it is considered by the Court that the
said plaintiff do recover of the said defendant the said
Sum of Four hundred & Sixty five Dollars & Thirty Eight
Cents so as aforesaid assessed against him with thereon
untill paid together with the further sum of
dollars & cents for his costs in this behalf expended
& the said defendant in mercy &c

And now on this day comes the said plain
tiff by his attorney Felix Livingston Esqr and the said defendant
comes by Dawkins & Smith her attornies as says nothing but makes
default in bar or foreclosure of said debt whereupon the said
plaintiff by his attorney moves the Court for a Judgment by
default for want of a plea and that the Clerk to assess the
damages by the said plaintiff sustained by the detension of
said debt, and the Clerk having assessed the damages at
Five hundred & Thirty Four dollars & Eighteen cents
It is therefore considered and adjudged by the Court that the
said Plaintiff do have and recover of and from the said defend
ant the said sum of Five hundred & thirty four Dollars & Eighteen
Cents for his damages for the detension of said debt
together with interest untill paid & further sum of
Dollars & cents for his cost in this behalf
expended & the defendant in mercy &c
