And now on this day came the said
plaintiff by his attornies Bradford & McLin Esqr and the said
defendant comes by T.J. Wheaton his attorney, And says nothing
but makes default And wherefor the said Plaintiff prays
Judgement for want of a plea, and the Clerk to assess the
damages, And the Clerk having assessed the damages by
reason of the premises at the Sum of Two hundred & sixty seven
dollars and Fifty seven Cents Therefore it is considered by
the Court that the said plaintiff do recover of the
said defendant the said sum of One hundred & fifty five
dollars & ninety four cents so as aforesaid assessed
against him with interest thereon untill paid together
with the further sum of dollars &
Cents for his Cost in this behalf expended
and the said defendant in mercy &c

And now on this day came the
said Plaintiff by their attornies Bradford & McLin Esqr, and
the said defendant comes by Jessie T. Bernard their attorney
and says nothing but makes default, And whereupon the
said Plaintiff prays Judgement for want of a plea, and
that the Clerk assess the damages, And the Clerk having
assessed the damages by reason of the premises at the
Sum of Two hundred & fourteen Dollars & Forty four Cents There
fore it is considered by the Court that the said Plaintiff
do recover of the said defendant the said of
Dollars & Cents so as aforesaid
assessed against him with interest thereunto untill paid together
with the further sum of dollars &
Cents for his Cost in this behalf expended and
the said defendant in mercy &c
The Court then adjourned untill 9 OClock
