do have & recover of & from the said defendant

     Cents for his damages for the detension of
said debt together with interest thereon untill 
paid & the further sum of
   dollars &        Cents for his Cost in this beh

                             Now on this day came the
said Plaintiff by his attorney G.W. Means Esqr and the
said defendant comes by his attorney George A. Dewson &
says nothing but makes default whereupon the said
Plaintiff moves for Judgment for want of a Plea & that
the Clerk do assess the damages & the Court having
assessed the damages by reason of the premises at the
sum of Two hundred & forty two Dollars & Fifty three
Cents it is therefore Considered by the Court that the
said Plaintiff do recover of the said defendant the
said sum of Two hundred & forty one Dollars & Fifty three
Cents so as aforesaid assessed with interest thereon
untill paid together with the further sum of
     Dollars &           Cents for his cost in
this behalf expended & the said defendant in mercy &c
