Now on this day came the
said Plaintiff by his attorney G.W. Means Esqr and the
said defendant comes by his attorney George A. Dewson &
says nothing but makes default whereupon the said
Plaintiff moves for Judgment for want of a Plea & that
the Clerk do assess the damages & the Court having
assessed the damages by reason of the premises at the
sum of Two hundred & forty two Dollars & Fifty three
Cents it is therefore Considered by the Court that the
said Plaintiff do recover of the said defendant the
said sum of Two hundred & forty one Dollars & Fifty three
Cents so as aforesaid assessed with interest thereon
untill paid together with the further sum of
Dollars & Cents for his cost in
this behalf expended & the said defendant in mercy &c
