                     And now on this day came the said
Plaintiff by his attorney George W. Means, & the said comes
by Bradford & McLin & says nothing but makes default
wherefore said Plaintiff moves for Judgment for want of
a Plea & that the Clerk assess the damages & the Clerk
having assessed the damages by reason of premises at the
sum of One hundred & Eight Dollars & Ninety -----
Cents it is therefore considered by the Court that the said
Plaintiff do recover of the said defendant, the said sum of
One hundred & Eight Dollars & Ninety ----- cents so as
aforesaid assessed with interest thereon untill Paid together
with the further sun of                      Dollars &
         Cents for his Cost in this behalf expended &
the said defendant in mercy &c

for use of William Lawton & Co}
           vs                 }    Asst
Horace Merry                  }  And now on this day came the
said Plaintiff by his attorney Geo. W. Means & the said defendant
comes not but makes default whereupon the said Plaintiff prays
Judgment for want of a plea & that the Clerk assess the
damages & the Clerk having assessed the damages by reason
of the premises at the sum of                        Dollars
&                   Cents therefore it is considered by the Court
that the said Plaintiff do recover of the said defendant the
said sum of                  Dollars &                  Cents so
as aforesaid assessed with interest thereon untill paid
together with the further sun of               dollars &
               cents for his cost in this behalf expended &
the said defendant in mercy &c
