the Surveyor General, which said Tract has been purchased by 
the said James Hodges Smith
Now know ye, That the United States Of America, in consideration 
of the premises, and in conformity with the several Acts of Con-
gress in such case made and provided, Have Given and Granted, 
and by these presents Do Give and Grant, unto the said James
Hodges Smith and to his heirs, the said Tract above described;
To Have and To Hold the same, together with all the rights,
privileges, immunities and appurtenances of whatsoever nature 
thereunto belonging, unto the said James Hodges Smith and to 
his heirs and assigns forever.
   In Testimony Whereof, I, Franklin Pierce President Of 
   The United States of America, have caused these letters 
   to be made Patent, and the Seal of the General Land 
   Office to be hereunto affixed. 
   Given under my hand, at the City of Washington 
   the First day of September in the year of Our Lord one 
   thousand eight hundred and fifty six and of the Inde-
   pendence of the United States the Eighty first

This Indenture, made this 1st day of March AD 1918, between
Bradenton Bank And Trust Company, a corporation or-
ganized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of
the State of Florida, party of the first part, and S.A. Dixon
of the County of Alachua, State of Florida, party of the sec
ond part. Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred
($300.00) Dollars, to it in hand paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
