to me to be the wife of the said C.W. Williams on a separate
and private examination taken and made by and before
me, separately and apart from her said husband, did
acknowledge that she made herself a party to said
deed for the purpose of renouncing, relinquishing and con
veying all her right, title and interest, whether of dower,
homestead or of separate property, statutory or equitable,
in and to the lands described therein, and that she ex
ecuted the said deed freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her said husband. Witness my hand and official

Whereas, In pursuance of the Act of Congress approved March
3, 1855, entitled "An Act in addition to certain Acts grant
ing Bounty Land to certain Officers and Soldiers who
have been engaged in the Military Service of the United
States," there has been deposited in the General Land
Office Warrant No 76,139 for 120 acres, in favor of Su
sannah Williams, Widow of William S. Williams, Pri-
vate, Captain Rountree's Company Illinois Militia,
Black Hawk War with evidence that the same has been
duly located upon the West half of the North West
quarter of Section four and the South East quarter of
the North East quarter of Section five in Township eight
South of Range fifteen East of Tallahassee Meridian
in Florida, Containing one hundred and nineteen acres
and ninety-three hundredths of an acre according
