	At a meeting of the board of County Com
missioners, met pursuant to adjournment, Present 
Mathew Hinson, Enoch T. Geiger, J.M. Sparkman 
C. Rain & E.H. Jordan President of the board
Ordered that J.R.W. Grissoms account of One 
dollar for altering Table in Judge of probates Office 
be paid
Ordered that the Tax for 1863 on the following 
species of property be assessed as follows Viz on 
Negroes at Six hundred & fifty (650$) per Head 
Hammock land at Ten (10$) per acre Pine 
land & Improvements four (4$) per acre 
Horses and Mules Two Hundred (200$) per 
head, Stock Cattle Ten (10$) per head 
Hogs Three (3$) per head, Sheep Eight (8$) 
per head Regular kept Stallions One Thou
sand (1000$) each
	There being no further business the board 
adjourned to meet again on Monday the 
8th day of this month of June
