Owen W. Sikes } And now on this day Came the
parties by their respective attornies and the defendant
Saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs
right to recover on motion of plaintiffs attorney it is
ordered that the plaintiff do have his Judgement
against the defendant by default and that the Clerk
do assess the damages at One hundred & Sixty two dollars
adjudged by the C Cents it is ordered Considered &
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have &
recover of and from the defendant the said sum of
One hundred & Sixty two dollars & Thirty Seven Cents
for his damages together with his Cost in this behalf expended
taxed at Seven dollars & Forty Cents &
the defendant in mercy &c

do assess the damages whereupon the Clerk having assessed
the damages at $154 dollars 70 Cents it is ordered
considered and adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiff
do have and recover of and from the defendant
the Said Sum of Dollars Cents For his
damages together with his Cost in this behalf
expended taxed at Three Dollars Ninety four Cents
and the defendant in mercy &c
