                   And now on this day came the parties
by their respective attornies and thereupon came a Jury
to wit  1  William C. Huggins       7  Joseph Ferguson
        2  John T. McIntosh         8  Amzi W. Cook
        3  Theophilus Williams      9  Solomon Warren
        4  Samuel L. Watson         10 Robt R. Hines
        5  Joseph P. Garrison       11 Thomas B. Holder
        6  William T. Chieves       12 John Vaughn

Who being duly sworn well and truly to try the issue Joined
between the parties after hearing the testimony of witness the
argument of Council and the charge of the Court retired
to considered of their verdict and thereafter to wit on the
same day returned unto Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit We the Jury find for the plaintiff and assess
he damages at One hundred & forty Six dollars forty Seven
Cents, Whereupon it is ordered considered and adjud
=ged by the Court that the plaintiff do recover and
have of and from the defendant the said sum of One
hundred & forty Six dollars & forty Seven Cents for the damages
together with his Cost in this behalf Expended Taxed
at Eighteen      Dollars & Forty Eight Cents and the
defendant in Mercy &c
