                  Friday May 13th 1859
for his damages together with his costs in this behalf 
expended taxed at             Dollars &         cents 
and the Defendant in mercy &c

                            And now on this day came the 
parties by their respective Attys and the defendant say-
-ing nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right
to recover On motion of plaintiffs Atty it is Ordered 
that the plaintiff do have his Judgment against the defdt
by default and the Clerk do assess the damages Where-
upon the Clerk having assessed the damages at 
   Twenty Six        Dollars &  Forty three         cents 
It is Ordered that the plaintiff do have & recover of and 
from the defendant the said sum of Twenty Six              
        dollars & forty three      cents for his dam-
-ages together with his costs in this behalf expended taxed 
at  Four        dollars &  Eighty three    cents 
and the defendant in mercy &c

                  And now on this day came the 
parties by their respective Attys and the defendant say-
ing nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right to 
recover On motion of plaintiffs Atty it is ordered that 
the plaintiff do have his Judgment against the defendant 
by default and that the Clerk do assess the damages 
Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the damages at 
    Thirty Seven          Dollars &                 cents 
It is Ordered considered & adjudged by the Court that 
the plaintiff do have & recover of and from the defendant 
the said sum of  Thirty Seven      Dollars &
           cents for his damages together with his
costs in this behalf expended taxed at Six
           Dollars & Seventy five   cents and
the defendant in mercy &c
