June & Peay            }  And now on this day came the parties
 by their respective attornies, and also came a Jury to
wit


who being duly elicited tried & Sworn well & truly to 
try the issue Joined by the parties after hearing the
testimony of witness the argument of Council and the 
charge of the Court, retired to consider of their verdict
and thereafter to wit on the Same day returned 
into Court and rendered the following verdict 
Viz We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and assess the 
damages at $350 $2687 94/100 Whereupon it is ordered Consid
ered & adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do
have and recover of and from the defendant the 
Said Sum of Two thousand Six hundred & Eighty Seven
94/100 dollars for his damages together with his costs in
this behalf Expended taxed

in Mercy &c
