                     Met Pursuant to adjournment

          And now on this day Came the parties by their respective
attornies, and also came a Jury to wit

Who being duly Elected tried & Sworn well & truly to by the issue joined by
the parties after hearing testimony of witness the argument of Council, and
the charge of the Court, retired to consider of thier verdict, and
thereafter to wit, on the Same day, returned unto Court, and
rendered the following verdict, we the Jury find for the Plaintiff
and assess his damages at $100 Whereupon set is ordered Consider
=ed & adjudged by the Court what the Plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the defendant the said Sum of One hun
=dred dollars for his damage together with his cost on this
behalf expended taxed at            dollars
          Cents and the defendant in Mercy &C

State of Florida}  Solicitor
     vs.        }  Murder         Continued to the Next term of
William D. Clark}  the Court and the defendant Recognized in the
Sum of Ten thousand dollars for his appearance at the next term of the
Court Charles Haile Thomas E. Haile Alexander Matheson Thomas
W. McCaa Lewis F. Roux Samuel K. Ring & James B. Bailey appeared
in open Court & acknowledged themselves to Stand indebted to the
      State of Florida in the Sum of Thirteen hundred & fifty dollars
each to be levied of their respective goods & chattles Slaves lands &
tenements if default be made in the following conditions that is to say
of the said William D. Clark Shall be and appear at the next
term of the Court to answer an Indictment for Murder and
Shall not thence depart the Court without leave thereof then
this obligation to be null & void other ends to remain in full
force & virtue
