Whereupon the said Elias Bauknight was duly
Sworn to discharge his duty as foreman as aforesaid
who having received his charge of Court retired under
charge of John J. Turner who was duly sworn as Bailiff
of said Jury for the term to deliberate upon such business
as might be brought before them
                             The Court then proceeded
to call the Trial Docket as follows to wit

                             And now on this day came the
parties by their respective attornies and also came a Jury

who being duly Sworn well & truly to try the issue Joined
between the parties after hearing the testimony of witness the
argument of Council and the charge of Court retired to consider
of their verdict and thereafter to wit upon the same day
returned into Court and rendered the following verdict to wit
We the Jury find for the plaintiff and assess the damages
at Two hundred & Thirty Nine 25/100 Dollars Whereupon it is
considered and adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff
do have and recover of and from the defendant the said
Sum of Two hundred & Thirty nine 25/100 Dolls together with
his Costs in this behalf expended taxed at
     Dollars                   & Cents and the defendant
in mercy &c
