And now on this day came the parties by
their respective attornies and the defendant Saying
nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right to recover
it is ordered that the plaintiff do have his Judgement
against the defendant by default & that the Clerk do
assess the damages Whereupon the Clerk having assessed
the damages at Twelve hundred & forty two Dolls &
Sixty two Cents it is ordered Considered &
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the defendant the Said Sum of
Twelve hundred & forty two Dolls & Sixty two Cents
for his damages together with his Cost in this behalf Expended
taxed at Six dolls & Forty
Cents and the defendant in Mercy &c
