} And now on this day Came the
parties by their respective attornies and thereupon
Came a Jury to wit

who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue
Joined between the parties after hearing the testimony of
witnesses the argument of Council, and the charge of the Court
retired to consider of their verdict, and thereafter to wit on
the same day returned into Court & rendered the following
verdict to wit, we the Jury find for the plaintiff and assess
the damages at Fifty dollars Whereupon it is ordered considered
and adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have
his Judgement against the defendant by and recover of
and from the defendant the said sum of Fifty dollars
for his damages together with his Cost in this behalf Expended
taxed at Dollars &
Cents and the defendant in Mercy &c

who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue Joined between the

the charge of the Court retired to consider of their verdict and thereafter
to wit on the same day returned into court & rendered the following verdict
to wit we the Jury find for the plaintiff and assess the damages at
Two thousand dollars, Whereupon it is ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the plaintiff do have
and recover of and from the defendant the said sum of Two
thousand dollars for his damages together with his
cost in this behalf expended taxed at Seventy Six
Dollars forty Eight
& Cents and the defendant in mercy &c
