           Monday April 13th 1863

who having returned under the direction of the Court to
Solicit their foreman, then after & upon the same day returned
into Court and reported Elias Bauknight to be their choice
as foreman was duly appointed & approved by the Court
as foreman, Whereupon the said Elias Bauknight was duly
Sworn to discharge his duties as foreman as aforesaid who
having received his charge of Court returned under charge
of John L. Cameron, who was  duly Sworn as Bailiff of said
Jury for the term to deliberate upon Such business as might
be brought before them
                     The Court then proceeded to call
the docket as follows to wit;

R.L. Henderson }       McDonell
     vs        }          
Eli Ramsey     }       
                     And now on this day came the parties 
by their respective attornies and the defendant Saying nothing 
in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right to recover On 
motion of Plaintiffs Attorney it is ordered that the Plaintiff do 
have his Judgement against the defendant Whereupon the Clerk
by default and that the Clerk do assess the damages 
Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the damages at 
    One hundred & Ten                   dollars & fifteen
       Cents it is ordered Considered and adjudged 
by the Court that the plaintiff do have and recover off 
and from the defendant the said sum of  One hundred &
  Ten          Dollars &    fifteen             Cents for his 
damages together with his Cost in this behalf Expended 
taxed at                      dollars &       
       Cents and the defendant in mercy &c

         vs      }      
Joseph A. Scott  }   And now on this day Came the parties by 
their respective attornies and the defendant Saying nothing in 
bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right to recover, On motion 
of Plaintiffs attorney it is ordered that the plaintiff do have 
his Judgement against the defendant by default and 
that the Clerk do assess the damages Whereupon the 
Clerk having assessed the damages at 
                                       Dollars & 
               Cents it is ordered Considered and adjudged 
by the Court that the plaintiff do have and recover off and 
from the defendant the said sum of   Nine
                dollars & Eighty Seven     Cents for his damages 
together with his Cost in this behalf Expended taxed at  
       dollars &                   Cents and the defendant in 
mercy &c
