           Monday Oct 12th  1863
State of Florida  }
Alachua County    }  At a regular Term of the Circuit
Court of the Suwannee Circuit Court of Florida this
day to wit on the 12th day of October AD 1863 begun &
held at Gainesville for the County aforesaid
                                             Present his
honor James B. Dawkins Judge &c E.M. Graham Esqr Solcr
Saml W. Burnett Sheriff and J.P. Bevill Clerk
There having been a failure to summon Jurors agreeably to
law, it is ordered that venire facias be issued returnable
immediately Commanding the Sheriff to summon Fifteen Jurors
to attend at this term of the Court           J.B. Dawkins
                                                Judge &c
Whereupon the Sheriff Summoned the following to Serve
as Jurors for the present Term to wit
George W. Boston = S.F. Harvard = M.C. Fifer = J.M. Parchman =
Wm Strickland = Wm N. Thompson = John R. Bevill = D.A. Frier 
Wm May = T.H. Howell = J.B. Holder, J.A. Cannon = Noah Townsend =
Andrew Bates = J.L. Cameron = J.J. Mickle = J.H. Malphurs = Wm A.
Turner = Thomas E. Haile = Philip Dell - Elias Earl = Frances A.
Shannon = James M. Richardson Dempsey Blake = James A. Goff
C.L. Dinkins = James H. Stephens = Henry L. Meeks -----








The following were then chosen and Solicited as Grand Jurors for
the present Term to wit
1  George W. Boston                     9   William May
2  S.F. Harvard                         10  T.H. Howell
3  M.C. Fifer                           11  Joseph B. Holder
4  J.M. Parchman                        12  John A. Cannon
5  Wm Strickland                        13  Noah Townsend
6  Wm N. Thompson                       14  Andrew Bates
7  J.R. Bevill                          15  John L. Cameron
8  D.A. Frier

who having returned under direction of the Court to Solicit
their Foreman, then after and upon the same returned into
Court and reported George W. Boston to be their choice as
foreman he was duly appointed and affirmed by the Court
as foreman Whereupon the said George W. Boston was duly sworn
