             Monday April 10th 1865

There being no business for the Grand Jury came into open Court
& was discharged for the Term
                          In the matter of Samuel B.
McLin formerly an attorney and Solicitor of this Court
and Circuit, he having proven himself a traitor and deserted
his native Country and her Allegiance, it is therefore moved
that his name be Stricken from the roll as a Member of
this Bar
      April 10th 1865            E.M. Graham
                                            Solicitor
It appearing to the Court that Samuel B. McLin has
deserted the Cause of the Confederate States and
of this State and is adhering to the Enemy now at
war with, It is therefore for this act of Treason &
desertion ordered that he Stricken from the rolls of
attorneys of this Circuit & State
April 10th 1865                  James B. Dawkins

Court adjourned untill 9 Oclock tomorrow

                       April 11th 1865 Tuesday
    Met pursuant to adjournment
