the Circuit Court of the Suwannee circuit of
Florida this day to wit on the 9th day of
April A.D. 1866 began and held at Gainesville for
the County aforesaid

O. Cosby Sheriff and S.P. Bevill Clerk, there having
been a failure to Summon Jurors agreeably to Law, it
is ordered that a Venire facias be issued return
-able immediately Commanding the Sheriff to Summon
Fourteen Jurors to attend at this Term of the Court

Whereupon the Sheriff Summoned the following to Serve

Solicited as Grand Jurors for the present Term to wit

8 W.C. Huggins --- who having retired under direction
of the Court to Solicit their foreman there after and
upon the same day returned into Court and reported
Wade H. Sparkman to be their choice as foreman he
was duly appointed and affirmed by the Court as
foreman, Whereupon the said W.H. Sparkman was duly
Sworn to discharge his duties as foreman as a foresaid
who having received his charge of the Court, returned
under charge of C.O. Bailey as Bailiff to deliberate upon
such business as might be brought before them
The Court then proceeded to call the Trial Docket
The Court then took recess untill 12 past 1 Oclock, met purs
uant to adjournment There being no business for the
